We floated 15 miles to our overnight pullout, it was cold that first night in camp. Then a snow storm kicked in the next morning, high cold water splashes, chill wind, falling snow. I saw Mario wearing his new State Champion jersey, he looks great in it. He stepped up one class riding twice the distance of previous races. The insiders story says his tires were too whompy for the muddy course but Mario does not make excuses. Read more about the race at his blog.
